I did it without crying!
He is there and I am okay! I think I got all the tears out yesterday. Thank Goodness. He was so big walking into school and Brazos was so excited he didn't even tell me bye. I had to go find him to tell him bye. I didn't make him give me a hug or kiss, (which was VERY hard). Rawley is so happy to be at home with Mommy by himself. I can't believe I had a fourth grader and a Kindergartener. How time goes by!

My broken heart!
Well....tomorrow is the big day! The day my heart will be broken again, I will send my sweet Weston out into the world of public schools and bad influences. He will have to make choices and have consequences for actions he may not understand. I can't imagine going through everyday without him here with me. It sounds like I am losing him forever and I know that it's only 7 hours a day, but I have had him with me everyday for the last 5 years. Now he will be gone 36 hours a week.....for 36 hours a week, I won't know what he is doing or if someone is being mean to him or if he is sad, I can't be there to hug him or give him a kiss. I wish I could just keep him with me. People say when you have kids your heart is walking around outside your body and you have to protect that, how can I do that when he isn't with me. The worst part is that I have to do this again in 12 months with Rawley and then what am I suppose to do with my time. I am a Mommy, this is what I do. It's going by too quickly I just want to keep them little. If you are reading this and you have a little one squeeze them tight and enjoy it, because next thing you know they will be going off to 4th grade or starting Kindergarten and Pre K. I love my boys so much and I am just not ready to let go. People think I am crazy especially Chris, but I guess you don't understand how it feels until it happens to you the first time.

Dad & the Canoe
Chris and Brazos went down to the Lake on Saturday afternoon to do some work and meet the dock guy so he could start building it this week. Dad went too, to fish of course. Brazos decided to fish from the dock, thank goodness, while Dad went out in the canoe. Dad managed to rig up the canoe with a trolling motor so that he wouldn't have to paddle (I call it the redneck fishing boat). He was cruising across the lake to the other side because the fish were running over there, as he was turning a gust of wind picked up the front of the canoe and flipped it over throwing Dad, two fishing poles, the battery (for the motor) and the trolling motor to the bottom of the lake. Then Dad couldn't get back in to canoe so he had to swim back across the lake pulling the canoe. Talk about a cardio work out!! Do you think this lake is telling us something?? I have posted a picture of the house and where the new dock will be after this week.

The Lake house
So we bought a lake house in East Texas on Lake Winnsboro. It's a little lake about the size of Lake Worth, one of those bass fishing lakes near Lake Fork. The house is cute it has four bedrooms and 1 and a half baths. It's a beautiful drive, about 2 hours from Burleson. The house came fully furnished with more than a house needs, plenty of dirt dobbers and one flea infested dog! LOL Needs some work! We went out there for the first time to actually spend some time. Weston and I were in the house cleaning out the endless junk drawers in the kitchen from 40 years of stuffing things in them. Chris was outside doing some work. We will be building a dock in the next week or so, but the neighbor, Bob, has one already and said we could use it. So Dad (Mike) took Brazos and Rawley down to the dock to fish. Next thing I know Brazos busts through the door saying "The dog fell, the dog fell" they were so worried about that stupid dog falling in the water when came to look at the place the first time, I said "Brazos who cares the dog can swim" He then says "No Mommy the dock fell Papaw and Rawley are in the water and I got stung by bees" I didn't know and out of shape Mom could run so fast! I took off out the door, but they were already walking back with Chris. Talk about a first time experience to the new lake house. Rawley and Dad were soaking wet and Rawley and Brazos were screaming because they both got stung by wasps twice on their legs. Turns out when they were walking down the dock it sturred up a wasp nest and when they stung them the boys started running and the old dock wasn't used to that so it fell. For the rest of the day Rawley said he didn't like the lake house and wanted to sell it! After all was said and done I was just thankful that Dad and Rawley fell and not our 75 years old neighbor Bob who lives out there by himself. We were only there for one day, can you imagine what will happen when we spend the weekend?
